What will it cost me...? Before you get painting contractors out to your property, you can work out an estimate quotation yourself. Simply measure the areas to be painted outside and/or inside your property and enter it in the calculator below.

Please bear in mind that this will only give you an estimate figure as there are a few factors that may have an influence on the painting quotation, but it will certainly give you an idea of what you can expect to pay.

Here are a few factors:

• The texture of the area – A rough wall absorbs more paint than a smooth wall.
• Colour – You will use more paint when changing from dark to light.
• Type of paint – You will eventually have to apply more coats when using a cheap paint.
• Gutters, window frames etc. – Separate quotation.
• Damaged walls – Obviously need reparation and/or treatment with additional costs.
• Very high walls – Requires special equipment and takes longer to paint.
